Angkor Wat

Angkor  Angkor Wat is one of the most important archaeological treasures of the world, and perhaps the biggest religious complex ever built. Believe it or not, it is the biggest complex dedicated to Hindu deities, outside the Indian territory.
Located in the province of Siem Riep, it was the political and religious center of the ancient Jemer Empire, and its real limits go beyond Cambodian borders, into Thailand and Laos. Inside this huge complex, the main temple is Angkor Thom, being the biggest and best conserved temple of all the ones that are part of the complex.
