Ulan Bator
Ulaanbaatar, or Ulan Bator, is the capital of the Republic of Mongolia, and it is located east of the center of Outer Mongolia, on the Tuul Gol River, in a valley at the foot of the mountain Bogda Uul. It is considered the coldest national capital in the world, with an average annual chilly temperature of 29.7ºF.
