Huvsgul

HuvsgulHuvsgul is the biggest lake of Mongolia, is freezing cold almost all the time, but also one of the most beautiful places in the world. Its inhabitants are known as the reindeer people, they live in tepees and live from their reindeer herds. Uvs Nuur Lake

Uvsnuur_1 753 meters above sea level, Uvs Nuur Lake is the largest lake in Mongolia, and shared with the Tuva Republic of the Russian Federation. It used to be a very big saline sea several thousand year ago, now, just a shallow saline lake. Located in Uvs Nuur Basin, which is the best preserved steppe of Eurasia, and homes 41 mammal species, including the snow leopard (endangered species) and 173 bird species.UNESCO declared the basin as a World Heritage Site in 2001.

Ulan Bator

Ulanbator Ulaanbaatar, or Ulan Bator, is the capital of the Republic of Mongolia, and it is located east of the center of Outer Mongolia, on the Tuul Gol River, in a valley at the foot of the mountain Bogda Uul. It is considered the coldest national capital in the world, with an average annual chilly temperature of 29.7ºF.
